Your First Counseling Session
Before your first appointment, you must contact your insurance company and verify any deductible or co-pays that will be due at your visit.
You will be provided a link to our client portal to complete all of your intake paperwork ahead of your appointment. This reduces time taken away from your session to complete those forms. It also allows you to go at your own pace. The more information you provide, the better we are able to help.
We know it can be anxiety provoking to start counseling or coaching. We will offer you a safe space to share your thoughts and feelings. We will listen with respect, curiosity, and kindness.
You will need to come to counseling or coaching with motivation, and desire to change. The more you put into your experience, the more you will gain.
If you are having a virtual/video session, you must have access to wifi/internet to use our secure platform. You will also need to find a secure, private space that permits you to speak freely.

Insurance
We accept Highmark, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Optum, United Healthcare, United Behavioral Health, UPMC commercial plans, and Cigna. We have limited openings for Aetna insurance clients as few of our clinicians are in the network. Co-pays and deductibles will be collect at the end of your session. Contact your insurance to learn about your mental health coverage and financial responsibility for services rendered. Common CPT codes include 90791, 90837, 90834, 90846, 90847, 90832. A credit card must be kept on file.
Cash Clients or Self-Pay Clients
We do offer sliding scale rates and low cost counseling options!
Licensed Clinician Fees for self-pay is $80-150, Mental Health Therapist Fee is $65
