Cope, Grow & Achieve Goals

We focus on helping High School, College-Age and Adults through individual, couples or family counseling.

Anxiety and depression often occur simultaneously for those diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome or Autism. Difficulty in social situations, either due to misunderstanding or missing social cues (when to stop talking about one's area of interest) or due to communication difficulties (turn taking, how to start a conversation), perfectionism, and processing problems can all lead to feeling anxious or depressed. All of this impacts life at work, school, and relationships with friends, family and significant others.

Attention deficit and executive functioning difficulties can also be common challenges for those diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome or Autism. In counseling, you can learn strategies and coping skills to manage these difficulties and achieve your goals. Together we will focus on your strengths and build new bridges and pathways to your desired level of satisfaction.
